1. What is KDVS fundraiser?
We have a fundraiser every year which enables us to keep bringing you shows, programming, and other great services. In exchange for your donation you get a "premium," a thank-you gift consisting of music, books, t-shirts, etc. that usually totals more than the amount of your pledge. We get this stuff from record labels, local businesses, etc. and you get a ton of it for supporting non-corporate community radio. KDVS receives no taxpayer money, no stimulus package funds, and no oil subsidies. We get money from the Associated Students of UC Davis, local businesses and you, our listeners who are responsible for just under 50% of our operating budget.

3. What methods of payment do you accept?
All kinds! We accept cash, credit card, and personal check.
4. What do I get in return?
The knowledge that you have helped contribute to keeping KDVS running smoothly for another year. Of course, depending on your pledge amount, you can choose from a variety of premiums to receive as a special thank-you for donating. Check out the Premiums section of this website for a full listing of what you can choose from.
5. What sorts of premiums are offered?
We have all sorts of premiums available, including music packages, t-shirts, books, special DJ services, and special items available shows. For a complete look at what we have to offer, see the blue menu bar at the top of this page.
6. Is my donation tax-deductable?
Absolutely! For all premium mailout shipments, a receipt will be inclosed listing your pledge number, payment processing date, donation amount, and KDVS' tax ID number in order to aide you in filing your taxes next year. For all premiums picked up at the station, please ask a KDVS core staff member for a receipt, and he or she will gladly write one out for you.
7. How can I get my premiums?
Two ways. When pledging, you can either choose to pick up your premiums right at the KDVS radio station, or you can ask for us to ship them to you.
8. How do I go about picking up my premiums at KDVS?
All premiums except for clothing will be available for pick-up starting on April 26th, provided you have already paid your donation. You can visit us at 14 Lower Freeborn Hall during the weekday (Monday through Friday) between 9 AM and 6 PM. Please ask for a core staff member, and let them know you are there to pick up your fundraiser premiums. If you haven't made a pledge payment yet, a core staff member can process it for you right then and there.

10. What is the estimated shipping time for mailout orders?
Please expect four to six weeks after we process your payment to receive your premiums in the mail. Pledge packages that include clothing may take a few weeks longer.
11. How soon is clothing available to pick up or to recieve in the mail?
We submit our orders for clothing items (t-shirts, underwear, etc.) the week after fundraiser, and receive our complete shipment within two weeks. After that, standard estimated shipping times apply.
12. What about special services/non-material premiums?
A station representative will contact you to set up details for service pledge premiums such as hosting your own radio show, hiring the mobile DJ unit, and recording in our studio. Any other premiums in the pledge will be shipped out to you or will be made available for pickup separately per whatever method you indicated when making your pledge.
13. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! That's why it's especially important that you fill out your address correctly on the pledge form. Also, please provide us with an e-mail address to contact you at in case we need to reach you (we can't call internationally).
14. What if there's a premium I want but I can't add it to my cart when making a pledge?
If a premium is not available for you to select, we are out of the item. In regards to clothing, no clothing premiums can be pledged for after April 26, as we only order enough inventory to fulfill all pledges made before the cutoff date. Please don't ask for an item to be added to your pledge if it is not available; such requests cannot be honored.
